DONALD STRUPP, Owner/Agent

Donald Strupp was born and raised in West Bend, WI. 
After high school, he continued his education at UW-Stevens Point where he earned his bachelors degree. 
He relocated to Rhinelander, where he worked in the medical field until 1984. 
It was in 1984 that he discovered his real passion in the insurance industry. 
In 1988, Donald founded Northland Insurance Agency, Inc.  

In January, 2019, Don took the leap into retirement. 
While he can sometimes be found in the office on cold, dreary days,
he mostly keeps busy tending to his gardens and making maple syrup, among many other outdoor activities. 
Him and his wife, Penny, enjoy camping, fishing, pontooning and spending time with their grandchildren.

ROBYN FARLEY, Owner/Agent

Robyn Farley has been serving the Rhinelander community and surrounding areas since 2011.
Robyn grew up in Rhinelander and graduated from Rhinelander High School in 1998.
She then pursued her college education in Stevens Point, where she earned Dean's List recognition and a degree in

Business Administration/Human Resources.

After almost 5 years at Sentry Insurance, Robyn found her way back to Rhinelander in 2011 and began working as a

licensed personal and commercial lines insurance agent for her father, Don Strupp, at Northland Insurance.
In January, 2019, Robyn took the Vice President position, with intent to

eventually take over ownership of the agency her father has so successfully built.
She loves the challenge and enjoys the client relationships she has built over the past several years.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and watching her daughters participate in all their extra-curriculars. She also loves to help her fellow community members whenever she is able. In the past several years, Robyn has taken part in community parades, chaired numerous events and fundraisers for organizations in the Rhinelander area and continues to

challenge and encourage others to take an active role in our community. 

In May of 2019, Robyn was awarded a plaque by Forward Rhinelander for her dedication and community service involvement.

In 2020, Robyn received 6 nominations as Today's Unsung Difference Maker, presented by the Rhinelander Community Foundation.

In February, 2021, Robyn was one of four finalists as community volunteer of the year, presented by Rhinelander Area Chamber of Commerce.

Also in February, 2021, Robyn co-created the Hodag 10s Facebook group, which is geared heavily towards

community involvement and in the Fall of 2021, became a non profit organization.

In January 2022, Robyn was awarded 2021 Community Volunteer of the Year.

In May 2023, Robyn received the Leadership Oneida County Mel Davidson Award.

It is very obvious that Robyn loves her community and always has her client's best interest at heart.

DAVID SCHMITZ, Agent

David Schmitz has assisted clients in protecting their assets since 1982. 
David grew up in the Rhinelander area and lives with his wife, Cindy, on a hobby farm in the Town of Newbold. 
David graduated from the UW-Green Bay in 1996 with a General Studies Degree in Business & Economics. 
After a number of years in insurance, David decided to broaden his horizons by passing his Series 65 exam and
becoming an investment advisor representative. 
He enjoys the outdoors, hiking, snowshoeing, skiing and hunting.  David has two adult children, John and Cari.

TARA FREDRICK, Office Manager

Tara Fredrick grew up in Rhinelander and graduated from Rhinelander High School in 1997.
She stayed in the area after high school, raising her family and working various jobs,
most recently providing child care for over 10 years.

In her free time, she loves spending time with her husband of 15 years,Tom,

and their four children; Tori, TJ, Tyler and Tia.
